Arrow Opportunities
Matthew 28: 19 – 20 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (ESV).
As followers of Christ, we are called to be disciples. At Southview, our mission is to lead as many as possible to passionately follow Jesus Christ. We believe we can do this by leading with our actions as we are called to do in Matthew 5: 14 – 16.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (ESV)
At Southview, we believe we are all called to be disciples and “missionaries” as we carry out the arrows of our symbol. We can do this both locally and globally.
