Imagine a Place

The Creator of the Universe gave the Church the incredible privilege of letting others know of the forgiveness, grace and new life that is offered to us in Jesus Christ. It's a message we are to spread not just through our words, but also through our actions - in how we live life and love others. There are times when the Church across history has done this well and times when it has failed significantly. Our heart at Southview is to follow this call well - to extend the incredible news of Christ through our words and actions. As we do that by God's strength, we hope to lead as many as possible in the joy of passionately following Jesus.

As individuals and families have gathered with us on this journey, it has led to some very practicial challenges. For one, we ran out of room at our Evergreen campus. So in recent years we began to rent several off-site facilities during the course of the week to allow for space for our ministries. To be clear, this is a wonderful problem to have.

In order to prepare for the coming years and coming generations, through, we have recognized the need for additional space for ministry - space that we cannot add to our Evergreen campus. In order to allow us to continue to grow, we purchased property off of Highway 22x with the purpose of building a facility that could meet our current and future needs.

As we have considered how we might move forward, we've used the phrase, "Imagine a place where generations will come to know Him." As we move forward, we would deeply appreciate the prayers of all - that we would have wisdom, discernment, patience and boldness in preparing a place for our own generation, and generations to come.
