Weekends are all about providing support on weekends, whether our guests have been attending for years, or it’s their first time.
Greeters are positioned at every entrance of the church. It is the greeter’s job to welcome and direct people.

Seasonal serving opportunities take place periodically during the ministry year and are a great way to be involved without an ongoing time commitment.
This is our yearly Summer Camp during the first week of July for all Southview and community children in grades 1 to 6. This is our biggest event of the year and we require several adults and senior high students to lead small groups, crafts, snacks, games and activities as well as junior high students to help.

Occasionally we need people to help with certain building projects or other odds and ends jobs around the church. The time commitment is 1-3 hours each time.

Serving in a specific ministry is an ideal way to use your unique areas of gifting and expertise to support the ministries of Southview.
This volunteering opportunity involves serving once a week on Tuesdays from 7 – 9 pm as well as a monthly bigger event on a Friday. The role largely involves being a small group leader to a specific grade anywhere from grade 7 to 12. The first hour of the evening is typically games and the second hour is a lesson followed by small group time to discuss and have conversation. Youth nights are very energetic and full of excitement, if this is something you would like to hear more about someone on the team would love to chat.
