Men's Serve Day
MAY 2
Men of Southview: we would love you to join us as we return to the Victory Foundation site in Forest Lawn. Partnering with our brother Dan Schleppe who is on the board of Victory Outreach, we’ll help with the final stages of restoring the Town and Country Inn. The vision of project is to ultimately supply 48 suites for women, children, and seniors, as early as August.
We are hoping to coordinate some small teams to assist with construction cleanup, site prep for landscaping, and various other jobs to help get this project to the finish line. We will meet and carpool from Southview. Victory will provide a light lunch for those attending.
Child Dedication Weekend
MAY 9/10
At Southview we believe that parents have the greatest opportunity to influence the faith formation of their children. It is also our desire to partner with you and be a resource as you lead your children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
There will be a Zoom child dedication eqiupping class on Tuesday, May 5 from 7-7:30 pm. After you register, you will receive information about the class in the confirmation email, as well as a reminder a couple of weeks before the class. Please note that we are limited to 3 families participating in the dedication ceremony per service.
Baptism Class
MAY 11
Baptism symbolizes that through faith in Christ we have been given a new Identity, as a child of God, forgiven and set free from sin. It is a public declaration that our allegiance has shifted from serving self and sin, to serving Christ and His kingdom.
For anyone interested in knowing more about baptism, this will be your opportunity to have your questions answered prior to our next baptisms scheduled for May 23 & 24, 2026.
This will be an online class from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. A zoom link will be included in your registration confirmation.
Membership Class

We are glad that you are considering membership at Southview.
We have designed this class to help give you a better understanding of who we are as a church, and our connection to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Denomination. This class will help you understand what membership means at Southview, as well as guide you through the steps to becoming a member, and give you a chance to ask questions. Please Note: this class is online through Zoom.
Once you’ve registered, a link for the online Class will be sent closer to the date.
